How often should my pool be serviced?
Most family pools do best with a fortnightly service, stepping up to weekly over summer when the pool is used more and the sun works harder on your chlorine. Monthly can suit a lightly used or well-covered pool. We'll recommend a frequency after seeing your pool.
What's included in a regular service?
Water testing and balancing, skimming the surface, brushing walls and the waterline, vacuuming as needed, emptying skimmer and pump baskets, checking filter pressure and running a quick check over your equipment. See the regular servicing page for the full list.
How long does a green pool take to fix?
It depends on how green it is and how your filter is performing, but most pools are noticeably clearer within a couple of days and swim-ready within about a week. Badly neglected pools can take a little longer. We treat the water rather than draining it, which is cheaper and better for your pool shell.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can get to the pool and the equipment pad, you can be at work. Just let us know how to access the yard when you book.
How much does it cost?
Every pool is different, so we quote each job rather than guess. Quotes are free and there's no obligation, and the price is agreed before any work starts.
Do you service spas and hot tubs?
Yes. Spa cleans, drain-and-refill resets, filter cleaning and water balancing are all part of what we do. Spas hold a small amount of warm water, so they go off quickly without regular care.
